Root Insufficient Storage Available??

Newbie
I've been trying to figure out all this link2sd stuff, and last night, I got frustrated and just did a factory wipe and started over. Here's the issue... it's not letting me update any of my stock apps (Google Music, Gmail, etc.) due to "insufficient storage", although it was letting me download new apps (Facebook, TuneIn Radio). I was automatically linking new apps through link2sd, and now all of a sudden, it's not letting me download certain new apps (Twitter, iMap Weather Radio, as examples) due to insufficient storage. I don't know how this can be, I have all of 13 user apps on my phone. According to link2sd, I have 1.6 gb left on my internal storage, and 591 mb left on my 2nd partition (ext2). How can I fix this? I'm getting really frustated and frankly, kinda angry at Samsung for taking away the ability to move apps to the SD card in the first place. Please help!!

did you back up recovery to your actual phone instead of the external sd card?
that takes a lot of space up and happened to me before

Check how much space you have left in your /system folder.
If it's less than 57mb you could try using Odin to flash the stock rom.tar that shabby posted

I have only 6.6mbs in my /system partition.
Also I have 250mbs on the internal sd but I can't install anymore apps.
How come?

I've not had any trouble yet as well, even through the past 4 updates for the app.
