Hey everyone.
I have a rooted HTC Desire 310 running a stock 4.2.2
Storage is divided as follows:
- Internal storage - 2gb - hidden, but accessible with root
- emulated external storage - 2gb - seen as "emulated storage"
- real external storage - 32gb - seen as "media card"
In app management, the "move2sd" button is missing, and using app2sd applications result in either "unable to move", or "cannot move because your external storage is emulated".
So I set up a combination of FolderMount and Link2sd.
FolderMount moves the "data" and "obb" folders from emulated storage to external storage, and Link2sd moves the apk, libraries, and other small stuff.
So far so good. I can install any app, and they all run perfectly from external storage, leaving my internal storage and emulated storage as free as they can get.
The problem is that of the emulated storage only 1 gb is actually free because 1 gb is used by "System data".
That means that if i try to install apps that are larger than 1 gb (e.g. Order and Chaos Online, need for speed most wanted, etc)from google play, I get "insuficient storage" message, and it refuses to install. The actual path path to which they would be installed (directly, via symlinks) has over 7 gb free currently.
Does anyone know how I can disable/bypass google play's free storage check to be able to force instalation ?
I tried a workaround to download a cracked version a game (which I actually have purchased, but as described, can't install from market), installed it, copied the obb folder, but when checking content it sees the apk is an older version and opens google play at it's (the game's) page, but Google play doesn't detect that the apk needs an update, so the only buttons i have are uninstall and open.
Any solution would be very apreciated.
