Help Insurance For My Nexus 4

As a preemptive measure to guard against unforseen and tragic events which which would rob me of my beloved Nexus4 I am considering purchasing insurance.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm worried about getting scammed by some" fly by night" outfit.

I'm on TMO pay as you go and when i got the sim the girl asked me if I wanted insurance for $7 a month? I said absolutely! Covers if its lost or stollen and I get a new one in the box for $130. Sounds good to me : )

my phones always go on my house insurance as a 'rider' or 'floater' this covers EVERYTHING (water damage, lost, broken, ect) I pay $2 for every $100 of coverage I want per year. So $600 worth of insurance is $12 + tax per year. There is NO deductible when you need to cash in your policy because your phone bit the dust.

You'll only get a new device if no reconditioned devices are available. From the details of the T-Mo replacement plan:

Your device will be replaced with a reconditioned device of like type and quality. In the event a reconditioned device is not available, the replacement will be made with a new device of like type and quality.

Just FYI.

I had never considered doing this. I'll have to talk to my insurance company about it.
