so got the white s3 and was wondering if something where to "happen" to it and i do an insurance claim are they still giving us the white CDMA or are they giving just the blue GSM's now?

from my understanding its been a mixed bag of replacements. some get blue some just get white. worst case, you get a new white one?

Yeah that's what I figured. Kinda Sux would like a blue one. Also I fixed what was wrong mostly I think my SD card got corrupted. Thanks for the help shabby.

if the said cdma s3 "broke" you can make a claim and once they've confirmed the s3 is "broken" you can call asurion and ask for a gsm one or just ask for the "blue one" dont ask how i know lol

One thing to remember if you get a GSM one your going to have to use a GSM plan, if you have a grand fathered lower price service you will lose it.

This is true. I'm in the older $55 plan so $5 a month doesn't really matter that much to me.

just a heads up I repaired my cdma s3 through Samsung's warranty replacement and all they did was replace the internals and sent me back my same phone..

how long do you have to wait?

as per Asurion, if it is not a Friday, it will get to you next day, if it is Friday, you will have it Monday, they overnight the phone.
