Integration

I was just looking at the feature list for iOS 6 and the new Macbook, and the one thing that I really miss with Android are all the integration possibilities with the Macbook directly. I know a lot of it can be done with Android - Google Drive vs iCloud (not QUITE as integrated with the Macbook, but still good enough), Chrome vs Safari sharing tabs (which Chrome Beta had way before Safari in the iOS6 of course), but there is one thing that stood out in the new Macbook and the iPhone in general that I really really wish we had: iMessage!

iMessage in general is already really cool and the fact that you are going to have that on your computer now as well so you can essentially continue to text on your computer is really really cool (especially since most of my friends are on iPhones).

Does anyone know if there are any plans for something similar for Android -- messaging of that style on the phone and maybe a downloadable app or even Chrome extension to have it on your computer.

The biggest shame is that of course even if we get that, it won't work with iOS users -- I wish it all worked together!

If you use Gmail a lot, GTalk is great. It's basically an instant messaging system tied to your Google account that you can use on your phone and computer.

Yeah I'm on that - and do use it with others who have it, but have found that even amongst gmail users, it's pretty limited those who are on it!

And that app looks really cool! Does it work with WhatsApp messages too?
