Interest in Galaxy S on AT&T? This may interest you...

Just spoke with someone here at work, and they told me they have had FM on 2-3 phones, and none ever receive very good. So, maybe it not being there is a blessing in disguise.

I had FM on a Nokia about 4 or 5 years back an it received very good. The only problem was the proprietary headphone jack and the single bud earpiece it came with.

You mean T-mobile right? I doubt Verizon will see this phone.

But as far as we all know, the Captivate doesnt have LED flash (same as original Galaxy), silly rumors on how it might now have a front facing camera (digitized pictures don't prove a damn thing), and no FM radio. So really so far just no FM radio. Meh that's not so big a deal, yet atleast.

Me being too optimistic?

Samsung did say the 4 major carriers...and yeah being optimistic is a bad practice even if you do work for the company.

Why would you care about this phone when the Droid X does everything it does and more.

I"m not sure everyone would agree with you.

There are two driving factors in paraticular.

  1. Super Amoled: This is the ONE main feature driving me to the phone, from a feature perspective. I want the best chance of seeing a color screen in sunlight. Droid can't match the Super Amoled from what I read. Most think the colors and screen view is 'the best'.
  2. I prefer not to move to Verizon
There are some other things that could be mentioned. But if it were available on AT&T, I would go actually look and do a comparison. It does look quite interesting.
