But no magnetosphere (Mars) means no protection from radiation .... there's a lot of problems to overcome that is most probably the single biggest and most difficult one... but hopefully we can be crazy enuff to do it!

The lack of a magnetosphere is one of the biggest problems by far to overcome also 1/3 rd gravity is a serious bitch as we are not yet 100% sure of the serious effects of lower gravity will do to humanity over life times... we know there are definitely bad effects
BUT hopefully some day there could be some super dooper awesome work around
Venus has the other problem where it has an EXTREMELY thick atmosphere - for example the "Venera" exploration probes that only lasted from 23 minutes to 2 hours.... scaaaaary conditions on Venus extreme heat of like I think 465 degrees Celsius - INSANE! hehehehehee! xD
