Did you that the navigation system on the USS Enterprise in Star Trek VI (1991) is literally just a vintage 1980s drum machine?

In one of the scenes, you can see the control panel and music geeks will know that the buttons and sliders perfectly match the Oberheim DX / DMX drum machine.

I was looking for a particular picture, this morning, and realized that I have probably several thousand pics of my two granddaughters , that I may never see again.
Í definitely need to safeguard all of these because I couldn't stand to lose them.
