Root Interesting Root Issues?

Grabbed a used zte Imax from a local store after my last one being stolen. I'm having many issues rooting it that did not have before.

Here's what it is.

MetroPCS ZTE Zmax 4.4.4

Issues I've had?
I've ran kingroot 43 Times (counted) and have not gotten temp root, but I have gotten something new this final time.

Kingroot this time installed "purify" and is also showing that I can give apps root permission. Although no apps i open ask for root permission (showing a permission pop-up) if anybody knows where I should go now, please let me know. I'll add screenshot of everything I see below.

Thank you in advanced for anyone who may help me and huge thank you to all the developers who have helped with this phone.i

i wouldnt bother with purify. sounds like bloatware. i remember kingroot having some bloatware that sometimes wouldnt submit unless i cleared kingroot app data, uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled. i have literally tried this over 100 times before. i have found that if you try different things during the process, like turning the screen on and off, and sometimes waiting a while after booting before rooting, itll eventually take.

you have to manually put the phone into recovery mode volume up + power put the phone into recovery than flash the supersu.zip file
U don't need temp root anymore u already installed twrp u just need to boot the phone to recovery

Still boots into stock recovery, im not sure whats making my phone so hard to install recovery.
