intermittent voice input

[Android Question]

I have a Samsung Galaxy S operating Android 2.3.5 Voice input works on search and dictation (the microphone icon on the virtual keyboard) but does not work on some applications like magicjack, Cubie and even Talking Teddy Bear.

Any suggestions?

My guess would be that maybe the apps don't support the voice input feature. Hope this helps!

I was trying to be brief and probably should have expanded on the word "intermittent". I've experienced applications that were working with voice input and later the same application won't work with voice input.
