Help Internal memory for storage

Hi, everyone.

I am having some problems with my Karbonn Sparkle V Android phone.
I am using Android 6 and I have a problem using the internal memory of the phone for storage.
If I connect the phone to my PC via USB cable and select file transfer, I cannot see my phone as storage drive, but only as "Portable V", with an icon that looks like a music player. When I access this folder, it is empty and I cannot do any operations in it.
While using a file explorer, I saw that my internal memory is labeled as "root".
How can I transfer files on my phone without inserting an SD card?
Not even downloading files from the browser of Dropbox worked.
I hope you guys can help me solve this problem.
Thanks.

Internal Storage on the Karbonn Sparkle V is locked. That's from the fonearena review of your device. You even need an SD card just to take pictures. This was true even when the Sparkle V was released. If your lucky Karbonn left the Move to SD card button alone so you should be able to move big programs to the SD card. That's what they originally intended.
