Help Internal memory full when it actually isnt

I have about 1.2 gigs used of 2 gigs. The phone thinks that pictures and videos are taking up an additional 1.6 gigs, which is impossible. I've deleted all photos and videos and it still says it's using 1.6. Since the phone thinks the memory is full, I can't download anything. Any ideas on how to fix this without a reset?

If you have a good file explorer, try going through the folders and deleting. Set it to show hidden folders. If it says pics are taking up memory it could be .thumbnails
