internal memory full

Lurker
hi..
i own android brand spice mi280.
internal memory 160mb.
i have rooted it and installed link2sd
moved almost all apps to sd.
only 3 small apps in internal memory around 20mb.
deleted sms call log, used cache cleaner etc.
still only 18mb left in internal memory.
please help me.
thanks in advance..

Link to SD is not very good. You need to use an a2sd+ script to link all the apps and dalvik cache to an ext partition on your SD card.

That said, I dont know your device. I would assume it needs init.d support adding first. Are there any custom roms for your device? I've never heard of it.

Edit, yes there are.

Apologies for diverting you away from AF for this, but I cannot see a forum for this model:

That second custom rom has a2sd support.

thanks SUroot..
a2sd was not working on my phone.. so tried link2sd and titanium backup.. both helped me to move apk s from int memory to sd..
but was not knowing about dalvic cache and custom rom..
lack of money so bought spice mi280.. indian brand manufactured in china..
is there chances of damaging my device by custom rom..?
please tell me can i delete manually any files in int memory which may not be usefull (created or used by old apps)..?
thanks..

"internal Storage" is only the /data partition so theres nothing else you can delete. Uninstalling apps clears that space.

Custom rom itself will not damage the phone. You will need custom recovery though to flash a rom. I cant help beyond that link and this information though as each device is different.

I would recommend doing lots of searching for your device, roms, guides and tuorials. Read as much as you can before you do anything. Anything you're not sure of, find a forum and ask questions. Its better to ask lots of questions and get it right first time than it is to not ask any questions and break your device.

Good luck

thank u very much.. will do as you said..
downloaded custom Rom files which you suggested..
Please explain me how to backup my Rom AND how to install or flash new custom Rom to my phone..
or please send me to a well explained link which explains that..
Thanks....

It's all done from recovery usually.

As I said, I can take you no further as every device is different. You must seek out people with your device as only they can help you
