Help internal memory lost

Hi all

I have a strange issue with my S3 with Jelly bean, It says in the Device memory that I have 11.25GB internal memory cool, but then it says:
812MB in apps
2.64GB in Pics, videos
20KB in audio
1.30GB in Miscellaneous files
and only
1G available!!!!

I installed storage analyser and the data is completely different! here it says I have 4G in use by 2,302files and 7.24GB free.

This last one sounds accurate things is my phone is going by is internal storage info and giving storage warning messages.

any idea on this?

you might need to do a factory restore
