I have a Samsung Galaxy Captivate SGH-I896 and I did a scan check for errors when I had the phone plugged in with USB cable and 2 times in a row it came up with bad sectors and saying that it found and fixed problems. The USB cable I don't think is the exact one for it as it is quite loose but I was just using it to transfer media and had issues with that and ran a scan check. What i'm concerned about is, is the internal memory damaged? I know external memory can be replaced but can internal memory be replaced or fixed? Does this mean my phone is no good anymore? Thanks in advance!
