I am having problems with my samsung galaxy 2. Firstly it wiped all my photos from my galleries so I suspect there are some software issues. Thankfully I found them in the internal SD files. But before I could download them all the battery has swollen and now my phone won't turn on. I tried a generic battery but the phone just loops on the start up screen. I have been told it probably needs to be sent away for a software upgrade and repair. I would like to know whether the photos on the internal sd card would be safe or now and if not, how can I get my phone to turn on so I can download them first?
