Hi need help please...
After cleaning some virus in my mobile, I reflashed stock ROM via SP Flash tools. Then the device was not showing my internal SD card. To recover the SD card, I accidentally touched partition menu in TWRP.
twp recovery > partition sd card>Change value (EXT Swap/ swap size)
Now, my system OS is gone and internal memory show 0 mb.

If i try to Advanced wipe in TWRP, following message appears-
Updating partition details...
E:Unable to mount '/cache'
E:Unable to mount '/data'
E:Unable to mount '/system'
E:Unable to mount Storage.

If i try to format -- type "yes" then data format failed.

Mount options for all is unchecked and cannot be checked.
Currently only TWRP and adb is working
please i need help ...

Oh...I have Xiaomi MI3 clone..basically it is MT6589 chipset. Currently I have only TWRP and adb working. As internal storage is gone, I cannot flash stock rom which I had back up. I search in other forums as well. Is it caused due to format of system and data partition?? If it is so, then please guide me how to get the partition back

Other info is, by TWRP File Manager, following files are seen inside /dev/block

Platform
Loop0 to loop7 (total 8 files)
mmcblk0
mmcblk0boot0
mmcblk0boot1
mmcblk0p1

Thanks.

A knock-off Xiaomi Mi3? If it is a clone, there's probably no chance of restoring the partitioning and firmware to a working state, as the manufacturer is anonymous and unknown, and so there's no information, tools and firmware available. If it was a real Xiaomi, could probably do it.

My mobile is HTC one M9. I've flashed AndroidEvolution and TWRP Recovery (It's been 3-4 months). Today, my phone turned off and now, it cannot boot up. Plus, in TWRP, it asked for encryption password. (I didn't set any but I've set the Screen Lock PIN Password, and I've already tried entering that but it says 'Incorrect Password'). I've gone through many forums, trying to repair, change file system, but nothing seems to work facing same issue as described by @savior555

Welcome to Android Forums @H3i

I'm just guessing here but have you tried flashing a lower compatible version of TWRP ? Some forums suggest it's a TWRP bug while other blame it on the rom. I've never experienced that ever while booting into custom recovery and I've had many soft bricks over in 7 years. If all else fails you may have no other choice but to flash your stock firmware and start from the beginning. :(

PS: My experience is with Samsungs not HTC's so I suggest you wait for another member to respond before processing.

@MrJavi Sure I'm waiting...
I have TWRP 2.8.7.1_CPTB-B1 installed. Plus, the thing is... I think my storage is either corrupted or something else because I can't even mount that... I can't wipe, repair or change file system either no matter how much I try. I tried flashing AndroidEvolution back but still it didn't work... I tried flashing recoveries... But still didn't work.

What recoverys did you flash? For one, I notice your using a very old version of TWRP 2.8.7.1 released in 2015.

Last resort

RUU.zip

It will overwrite the following partitions:

System (the /system mountpoint)Boot (the /boot mountpoint)RecoveryUser data (the /data mountpoint, this means you lose all of your personal data)It may update your radio image (if newer)

Back to Stock and start over.

fastboot.exe for flashing RUU, not the normal fastboot.

Just be aware you'll face Google FRP lock, so youll need to know your Google password apon reboot.

One thing, my device is 'himauhl' not 'hima', plus, I've tried flashing latest recovery you just mentioned. But my phone still sticks to the old recovery version.
I also tried fastboot oem rebootRUU, but my phone just shows HTC icon and restarts. It can however go to normal download mode AND... I've already tried flashing in that mode too...
