Internal storage keeps going up

After I rooted my phone, and uninstalled useless apps, my internal storage went down to 70MB. All new apps are set to install on SD Card by default. Any that don't, I move to the SD card. Now my internal storage is at 90MB. I use a cache cleaner, and am defragmenting now. Question is... why has my internal storage gone up by 20MB

that is because some of it is still on internal. if you install a custom rom they use ext-to sd and that uses sd memory as internal and you need a kernal to do this. they have a half ass rom that is stock and does this or there are roms that do this too. i rooted and tried a lot of ways and nothing works like a custome rom. check them out.

Btw, if you get an 8 or 16GB micro sdcard, partition it to ext4 using cwm and flash a custom rom, you can get up to 4GB of internal storage. (More if you partition using some other method)

Yes you can. You can also partition your sd for swap (virtual ram).
