Help Internal storage vs Phone

When I try to move apps to/from the SD card, now I can only see "Move to phone" or "Move to internal storage". This was not the case with Gingerbread where it showed either int storage or SD card...now I've upgraded to ICS and gotten this problem. Does "int storage" now mean the SD card?

No. It means the 8GB internal partition.

I think they removed the option for good reasons. running apps off the SD card is slower to load, slower to boot up, slower to run. When you restart the phone, there are apps missing. There are loads of downsides, and nowadays very few upsides.

Apps on SD card was useful in the first couple generations of Android phones, when the phone had like 150mb of app space. We have about 3GB, not counting the 8GB internal storage. Do you really need more space then that?

Although I'm sure that if you want to move some apps to your sdcard, there is a way to do it.
