Help Internal Storage?

Not sure if this was covered anywhere but how can we accessed the internal storage on the phone? What can we use it for? I can only seem to access my sd card and nothing more in any file browser.

You have to be rooted, and use a file explorer that supports root functionality. But playing around on the internal memory with root privileges without knowing what you are doing can be very dangerous.
