Internal Storage

Hi Folks,

I recently damaged my One X screen upon reparing I broke the ribbon that slides under the battery and connects to right hand side just below the mother board (below micro USB)

I have just purchased the One X XL and would like to retrieve my music, files, etc from my broken One X

I plug the handset into my PC it appears in My Computer however prompting that there is no removable disk

Has anyone any advice on what to to retrieve the files

If you have WiFi on on the phone then this thread may have the solution:

Look for posts by Scary Alien. He wrote an app called AF Rescue, which will fire up WiFi File Explorer without you using the touchscreen. Details in the thread. So if you have a live WiFi you can push the apps from the Play Store, then use WiFi File Explorer to browse your internal storage and rescue your files.
