I'm sick and tired of all the samish cm based roms and I'm also sick of carbon now that it's became unreliable. A few times this week I've wanted to take a pic and "cannot connect to camera" or wanted to listen to The Twang or Goldfrapp or Louis and the phone has froze! and ive been using carbon for months but the latest nightlies are going downhill.
I ADORE Validus by Ground Zero Roms and with Franco Kernel it makes my Nexus 7 a flying machine. I'm friends with a lot of the guys on the team but whoever is maintaining the s3 is lazy.
The button back lights can't be disabled and the charging LED stays on even while the screen is on!!
I just can't live with that lol.
My apps are restoring on latest Omni nightly now and after going through the settings, the only thing missing (and it is a big thing) is no theme engine.
I understand their reluctance to use any cyanogen code but wasn't it t-mobile who made the theme engine?
Anyway if this rom is fast and reliable I'll stick with it and my tablet can be my sexy pimpmobile
