I'm from Australia i had cm 10.1 rom on my s3 buggy battery life was good since i been on ultimarom my battery life has not been good what can i do to fix my battery life sorry for my bad english

If you saw a decrease in battery performance after installing a different ROM it could be a bug in the ROM itself. In which case there isn't anything you can do but report it to the ROM developer and hope they release an update. You would be best to go back to CM10.1 or find a different ROM to install.

Yeah as said if the battery drain only happened after flashing the ROM it's likely down to that. It could also be worth giving the ROM a day or 2 to settle in. Sometimes when you change ROM it can drain uncharacteristically quickly for a bit. If you haven't done already a factory reset may help.

I've moved this over to all things root:)

Nah ultimata is based on wanam lite so should be great for battery. Did you full wipe? Check settings?

i did a full wipe cm is good but it is not stable ultimatrom is stable but only problem is battery

Thinking about it cm has a different kernel to ultima so that could be the problem. Try flashing siyah or Perseus. You'll find them in the all things root sticky.

It could be. I'm not sure what kernel comes with ultima but I'd assume it's stock, just repacked with root whereas cm will have an undervolted custom kernel which in theory will give you better battery. If you've just changed to perseus you should notice a difference as that's defaulted to be battery friendly with added performance.

when i put ultimatrom on my s3 i put perseus kernel on at the same time other then stock kernel what kernel is good with battery

I think that might rule out my theory then. Did you format system during the wipe in recovery ( mounts and storage) when you flashed? If not boot into recovery do your data, cache and dalvik wipe then format system and then reflash the ROM. I tend to do it from same ROM to updated version of ROM just to clear the bugs out. Maybe it's more needed when going between Samsung and aosp.
