Root [International] Boot animation resolution for S4?

I've done everything but I just can't get this boot animation working on my S4.

I tried both the vertical 720x1280 and 800x1200. Then I tried changing the resolution for both to 1080x1920 as to match the S4's resolution, which did finally get it working in the preview menu, but on reboot it's just blank. If I leave the resolution alone I just get a standard "android" flashing text on bootup.

I'm completely stumped. Does the image resolution have to match the phone's resolution? I don't know why it doesn't work when it does work on the preview menu (settings > themes > boot animations).

I tried the lowest res at both the normal res and resized to 1080x1920, neither worked, not on preview nor on boot.
The only thing that's worked so far is 720x1280 resized to 1080x1920 but ONLY on the preview menu.

What is zipsign? I checked but don't know what it's for.

I also tried taking an existing working one (360x640) and resizing that to 1080x1920, that also gave me a blank screen. I don't know why 1080x1920 doesn't work..
 
Like Microsoft has certificates to validate if programs are allowed to run on their systems Google on the other hand use a trend called zip signature to validate if a pkg / zip file is allowed to run on android os which might be the case
