Root [International] Can you get free apps like after jailbreaking iphone?

i am thinking of rooting my s3. but will it be the same as having **** after jailbreaking iphones and ii can download any app i want?

how does it work on android?

i downloaded **** on my non rooted s3 and wasnt impressed with the apps available.

Rooting an android device gives you administrator control over all aspects of the device. It has nothing to so with paying for apps.
