Root [International] emergency calls only - no network service on AOKP milestone

Hi, I've just recently installed AOKP mr1 Milestone rom on my phone, but I have no network signal, and I was wondering if this is a known issue, or whether there is some setting I can change.

To make sure it wasn't my network, I booted into recovery and restored my nandroid of neatrom and I had network service. Rebooted into recovery and restored back to Milestone, and the service is gone again.

Strange man. im on 3 too and it worked fine. Is it EMC2 baseband? Did u try another kernel?
Did you make sure your APN settings are still there?

It's EMB5 baseband. APN is set.

I don't get it. Although I don't usually admit defeat, I need to make phone calls so will prob revert to old rom.

So does the modem come with the rom? Im on EMC2 mate

Yeah it's the one that came with the rom. Maybe I should try downloading another version.

I use the EMC2 one with 4.2.2 would that work in your country? What baseband are u on justnow mate?

If i move to Abu Dhabi or Korea will my i9300 still get signal with AOKP?
