International Exclusive?

At the end of the day, the phone that I'd want to purchase is the Galaxy S3.

Unfortunately I am unable to come to a final decision on which model to buy. I don't intend on getting the phone on contract, so that allows me to even think of buying the international version.

I know certain things such as 1GB vs 2GB RAM, the Dual Core vs the Quad Core, and I've decided on the AT&T Variant of the S3 as my new phone.

The exclusive FM radio on the international version is something I would like in my phone, so I'm wondering if there are any other exclusive features to the international version other than built-in FM radio.

The exclusive hardware can make or break my decision on which S3 to make my own.

Please assist me in this if you have any thoughts, and thank you for reading!:D

PS: Provided there are no other exclusive features on the international S3, would anyone recommend am/fm radio apps I could use? In fact I started using tunein the other day.

I don't live in the US so I don't own any of those variants, but here's my two cents:

The International GS3 has a Quad-Core Processor along with 1GB of RAM. It works flawlessly and that's all good. It doesn't support LTE/4G though.

The US variants are Dual Core and have LTE supports. The hardware is different, although the design of the phone is the same.

If you want a good variety of custom ROMs and other mods, the international one is likely going to be your choice, because it's the most common around the globe and many developers would address their attention to it.

As far as the FM radio, it may or may not work in the US. There are differences in the frequencies used, some even some odd. It may be hit or miss.
