HI all!
I just got my new Galaxy nexus. I want to be able to use my Ipad wirelessly, so I was told to root my phone. I am using a mac! Could someone be kind enough to provide "The dummies guide" to rooting on a mac step by step. Its a little confusing!

We'll be more than happy to help you with rooting. However I or AF can't help you with setting up wireless tethering practices that would violate your TOS.

Thanks...not looking to set up wireless..just rooting! has the issue been fixed? Like I said Im on a mac. Im a root virgin ;)

Can I follow method 2 and be totally fine?

I've heard CWM isn't ready for the LTE version, I can still root + unlock the bootloader right?

yes you can still do that. Yes CWM for LTE isn't official yet. I heard it may be out tonight. The test version is out now and is being tested.

I am trying to root too. I have the bootloader unlocked. I was going to install the superboot found here

but when I type:
Code:
./adb-mac devices

I get:
Code:
List of devices

Nothing after that, when I did it to unlock it listed the serial number or something. Now nothing, so I don't want to go on until this is remedied.

ok, I am doing this on a mac. I cant get my computer to find my phone with ./fastboot devices I have my phone hooked to the computer with is in fastboot mode, but no luck....HELP!
