W Wolfedude88 Android Expert Dec 16, 2011 #2 No, security shouldn't be affected with the bootloader unlocked. You will need the bootloader unlocked anyways down the line. If you re-lock it and need to unlock it again, it will wipe your phone. I would say your better off leaving it locked.
