Root [International] How to fix wrong CSC when coming back to stock ROM.

Lurker
Hello,

I couldn't find similar thread anywhere, so here's my findings.

I was getting incorrect CSC after installing Firmware from Firmwares | SamMobile
I needed SEB, but in recovery mode it showed NEE and KIES couldn't recognise my phone. The Firmware itself contains multiple CSCs, but my phone couldn't choose the correct one automatically. I've tried several times, but no luck.

What I've done:

1. I've rooted my phone again and installed 'Samsung Galaxy S / S2 / S3 CSC'. App changes CSC. Works for rooted phones only. Available on Google Play.
2. Changed CSC in application. WARNING!: all phone data will be deleted (factory reset).
3. Flashed the same stock ROM again.
4. CSC became SEB :)

I've used a custom ROM before and probably after flashing it my CSC changed to NEE. I guess stock ROM thought that NEE is the correct one and kept applying it. Not sure about this. Only my thoughts :)

Hope it helps.
