Root [International] How to get CRT effect without a ROM?

So I want CRT effect on GS3 rooted but don't have a custom ROM. Is it possible?

if u can find the correct zip file for it and flash it it should work, but i am not sure better to make a nandroid backup before trying anything. The crt effect file is available in omega files but its under the section of mods for v 43 which makes me think it wont work unless ure running v43 of omega. if u want to try it out u can install omega files from the play store and try flashing the file in the recovery(make a nandroid backup 1st).

its basically u remember how ure old monitors used to go off(everthing shrinking to the middle of the screen) it does the same thing on ure phone. its not the best explanation have a look at video below
