Root [International] How to root Galaxy S3 i9300 jellybean?

OK so I updated to jellybean but can anyone tell me how to root galaxy s3 international version ? I have never rooted before?

I want to flash Omega ROM I saw on YouTube I like it any tutorials how to do these?

Welcome to the forum.

Rooting a gs3 is actually a lot easier than it seems at first so don't worry too much. All it takes is flashing a slightly modified kernel. There is a good guide here

Hi, I just want to say that this video is for ICS isn't it? I updated to JellyBean? So I want to root a JellyBean updated phone.

2nd question, if I root, I obviously lose my warranty, if something happens to my phone, can I still send it back to Samsung without them knowing I rooted so they do it for free. Or do I have to pay?

1. The guide was written when the gs3 only had ics but I'm 99% the cfroot kernel still works on jellybean

2. Depends what happens. If you install triangle away and set it to reset the flash counter at boot, most cases will be covered.

If the flash counter is 1 or more, warranty is void.

If your phone boots, before returning it, flash an official stock rom before returning it
