Root [International] How to: sync Contacts & Calendar

If I create. amend or delete Calendar entries via the default Google Calendar app on my Desktop PC, the entries automatically Synch onto my Android 4.1.2 device, my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 LTE.

Working on the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, I can amend or delete a Calendar entry previously input onto my Desktop PC (which has then been synch'd onto my Samsung Note) and at next synch, these changes get reflected on my desktop. However what will not work is the following - > if I create a new Calendar entry on the Samsung Note 2, it will not appear on the Desktop PC after synching.

A similar thing happens with Contacts. i.e. new contacts created on the Samsung Note will not synch to the Desktop but deletions and amendments (to Contacts originally input on the Desktop, then synch'd to the Samsung Note) will do so.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Hi

That sounds like you are creating contacts and calendar entries on your note 2 in the wrong list/calendar. If you create them in say samsung or phone contacts and samsung calendar when using your phone you would get the lack of sync you describe.

In contacts go to menu> contacts to display to see what is in each list.
