Root [International] Htc One M7 stucked to bootloader screen

GuximKaa

Lurker
My htc just stopped working last nite, and it wont turn on, I have plugged in the wall charger but there is no red led light, after charging for 20 minutes the phone turned on, but It went to bootloader, but there is a problem I can not choose any option listed there, i press the power button to select factory reset but the phone just vibrates and it does nothing.

Any help will be helpful
Thank you..

Doesn't sound good. You could try forcing a shutdown (press and hold the power button until the phone shuts down) and see whether it's any better after that. But it sounds like something has got badly corrupted or failed.

You could try charging the phone then reflashing it (erasing everything and replacing all of the system software with a fresh set) using a ROM Upgrade Utility. Which one you need depends on your software version, region and the carrier the phone was originally sold through (if any), so it would help if you could supply that information. But no promises even so: this might need a hardware repair.

I'll ask the moderators to move this to the M7 section of AF, where more people familiar with the phone will see it.

Done:)

OP, I made an educated guess that you have the international version of the ONE. If it's different, post back and I'll get this moved. Good luck.

While we're here, is the phone rooted, and if so is it S-On or S-Off (it will tell you that on the hboot screen)? That will tell us whether we have other options to try.
