Root [International] Insufficient storage available error - fix it

Polkas

Lurker
Problem with "Insufficient storage available" is laying in stock application installer. It does not recognize external SD card. Never mind where you are installing application from.
Devices with pre-installed internal SD card has this error.
If you have rooted device, probably you have installed ROM Toolbox Pro. Go to App2SD settings and set "Auto".
This will solve problem as on my Galaxy Note 2.
If you do not have ROM Toolbox Pro, just check your phone settings or settings in other programs where you think can be set up installation of new application on External SD and
change setting from "Install on SD card" to "Auto".
Android developers I hope should fix it soon.
Good luck!

I am so pleased to have this monkey off my back that I signed up to the forum so that I could thank you.
So, thank you!

After 1 week looking for a solution to this problem, looking for odex file etc. I finally found this thread and used it. WORKED finally.

I just register myself here just to thank POLKAS! Thanks man.

I suspect I have the same problem. I started seeing this after rooting, I have ROM toolbox and a few other tool kits, but I can't find the setting to change the install location. It must be in one of those somewhere, but can't find the setting.

I wouldn't know what your exact issue is. For me the setting I changed was in "ROM Toolbox Pro".

Have you installed any mod applications? Anything that changed this setting could be giving you a problem.

You said you do not have an SD card, you are sure there is space on your internal memory?

In settings I have option Storage and then Preferred install location and then there is this :Internal storage,USB storage and Let the system decide. Also I have space in Internal storage and I didn't install any mods and I don't have "ROM Toolbox Pro" can I download it from google play?
