Aye lol. My first ever build prop edit so i thought id do something useful
It was actually pretty eye opening and ive learned something new. Means i dont have to use apps or roms to change dpi for example :beer:

Lol it was a buddy on g+ that taught me. Just used ES and went to system/.buildprop and edited..... cant remember its name lol but it has GT-I9300 next to it

Just be careful what lines you edit in there...one wrong edit and your phone won't boot

Well, I don't know about ES File Explorer, but when I edit my .buildprop via Root Explorer, it will auto backup the original .buildprop as ".buildprop.bak".
Perhaps ES does the same?

I don't see why not? You mean copy it, rename it, edit it to what it was before you made your phone an Iphone?
