Root [International] Kernel recommendations?

funkylogik

share the love peeps ;)
For using with a 4.3 aosp rom (slimbean)?
I love the slim kernel but fancy something more tweakable.
My US peeps swear by Lean Kernel but i dont think theres a i9300 version(?)
I loved Siyah/Googy on TW roms but found them buggy on cm based roms.
Cheerzz

Cheers mate. Ill give it a flash right now. I really miss stweaks :):beer:
Do you bother wiping dalvik after flashin a kernel?

So googy is really stable but tbh, even overclocked and though it benchmarks much higher, it doesnt feel as snappy compared to the Slim kernel. Even with touch-boost at 1.2ghz.
ill test battery at 1.4ghz tomorrow then probs go back to Slim :)
P.s, 1.7.3 only O/Cs to 1.6 mate

Before you change back to stock Funky try GoogyMax 1.7 it seems to be the kiddy, I used to find the same on the Siyah V Sync kernels the slightly older ones were the best.
Flash in 1.7 set it on Govenor = Lulzactiveq and scheduler = Deadline and give it a couple of days to 'get it's feet under the table' and see.
Thanks for the review of 1.7.3 though I will stay on 1.7 for a while.

I've read your really happy on Slim 4.3 but I would still recommend you give Jelly Bam 10.3 a go to see how it compares, more so on the Googy series of kernels. Smooth as best butter!

I already flashed back bro n wana know the reason? Remember the only thing i hated about liquid, the ****** backlights.. well googy kept turnin them on so i restored my backup in disgust :D
Ill defo try the older version and jelly though when i get a chance. Im pretty flash happy these days. Cheers mate

Your welcome, the newest version of JBam 10.4 should release soon I'm going to try the beta test tonight if I have time has various improvements I'm told. Lol I love the back lights but I have them set for one second on!

I hate the ******* lol. Let me know how jbam goes. U should join our g+ community man Rooted Samsungs. Its over populated by americans but a good laugh and source of s3 info
