Root [International] Odin for Mac and Linux

Thanks... As someone who's trying to move over to a more linux focused world, I'm sure this will be useful shortly :)

Yep this is sure useful for us Linux folks...no more trying to connect a phone whilst trying to run Windows as a virtual machine...nightmare!
 
It's almost a reason to get another Samsung phone.

Odin is such a great tool.

I couldn't believe how easy it was to root my S3 compared to the rigmarole I had to go through to root and configure my HTC Desire.
 
So much easier now,
I remember having to create 'gold cards'; using ADB to push terminal commands to the phone; bricking was a reality there was no way back from....Odin and the devs that make it possible have been a game changer.
 
LOL I'm sure I've still got a gold card somewhere. A useless 2GB SDCard.

Yeah using ADB to flash Modems over USB. That was a hairy experience.
