With a custom Kernel, you can use an application to overclock your CPU. Mine now runs at 1.7Ghz instead of 1.4. Is it noticeably faster? Oh yeah!

Tell me more! Which kernel, and which app?

I personally use Siyah kernal: SiyahKernel for S2 & S3 | "One kernel to rule them all"

Also ninphetamin3 will work too.

I also use siyah - the sound improvement alone is worth it!
use can use the stweaks app that comes with the kernel to overclock or an app like setcpu
