Root [International] picture shortcuts on desktop?

hi all.
I'm after an app that will let me create shortcuts to photos on my desktop.. thought astro used to do this but couldn't get it to work :-\

cool thanks for that app link - took me a while to figure out what it was doing
doesnt actually add pic shortcuts to desktop, but does allow quick access to a needed pic
