Root [International] Pls Help> Missing Download Manager

I'm using samsung galaxy s3 4.1.2 rooted and i cant find my download manager making my google play crash whenever i download.
Can you help me how to solve this?
 
In that screen that you showed, scroll down to the bottom of the list and see if its there and enable it.
Disabled apps go to the bottom :thumbup:
 
Didnt find download manager nor disabled apps. I think it was deleted but dont know when. Maybe when i tried to uninstall my playstore using titanium backup.
 
Are you sure the top downloads isn't actually your download manager? It's about the same size as mine, has the same symbol and I only have one downloads
 
Since you can download from other places the problem isn't download manager being missing, I think it's just called downloads on your phone for some reason. Try clearing data for Google play store, Google services framework, Google play services and downloads again, then reboot your phone.
 
Try going to Settings > Apps > Play Store and 'Uninstall Updates' which will take you back to the previous version of the Play Store, maybe that could help?
 
I did that already.
I even uninstalled my updated playstore using titanium then installed a lower version but still crashes. I restored the backup of my updated playstore the problems still exist
 
Nah i think thats the modem firmware (baseband) youre lookin at mate. In About Device, what does Build Number say?
 
If you download some firmware or a ROM which matches your current build number you'll be able to extract the apk using 7zip and then install like any other apk.

hi I know this is an old thread. I need help. I got it took till the above. I still don't get how to get download manager back. please note, I'm not very tech savvy but I'll def try. thanks

From the firmware package for your device. You find and download a ROM or firmware for your device and extract the download manager from it.
The post that you quoted won't be answered, unfortunately funkylogik has passed away.
 
Hi am having similar problem. If I download something, nothing is shown at the top task bar. To know that the file is downloaded I have to wait till it tells me that's done. But nothing like a progress of download so I know how much percent is done. Download manager is enabled and notification on. Only ways to see how many percent is downloaded is to download another file and click on the name so download manager is opened and shows progress of downloading. Can u help guys? Thx.
 
I can't seem to find download manager on the list either. I accidentally disabled it and now I can't find where to enable it ??
