Root [International] power button doesnt always work :/

hi all,

ive got an odd intermittent issue with power button action - it doesnt alway let me turn device on or off :/ but sometimes i does

ive tried different roms/launchers/lock screens etc and get same issue

....so i guess it must be the button that is on its way out ?

theres a few apps that let you use a gesture like shaking the phone, holding face down etc to turn it off and you can use home button to turn it on.
they can be quite battery hungry but theres also widgets you can use to turn off
id probably use the warranty though. why put up with bad workmanship on a

yes, oddly it works ok on 4.2 aokp - but as soon back on 4.1.2 sammy base - started playing up again - ive just uninstalled some apps that might be the issue - so lets hope that sorts it

Strange one eh.
Dont u like the 4.2 rom mate?
Or have u tried a very TW based rom like Neat Rom?
(Again it should just work out the box but were android fans eh)

i really liked the 4.2 rom but as it was cm based the
battery life want as good as Sammy based roms.
....and the rom Dev just brought out a new Sammy
build, so what could I do

seems to be issue with 4.1.2 roms - 4.2 rom was ok - the dev is fixing as we speak
its fairly intermittent though ...and BS has its own lock action - so no biggy .... now i know what it is

Worst devs ive ever bought an app from are the devs of Smart Keyboard Pro.
I love the keyboard and this is like the 4th phone ive used it on but dev support just doesnt exist yet some free non-ad supported apps mail you back in a few hours and send u beta .apks to test for them on your device and you both gain from a free payed app and feedback from a different phone model.

Everyone should mail a dev' before one-staring them!

yes i used to use that kboard all the time but you are right, the dev has dropped off i think - maybe moved on to a new project - plus loads of spam on the site

ive moved to swiftkey3 ....and now trying their swipe style beta called Flow - worth a check out imo

Lol ive never learned to type qwerty so i love the t9 style of smart keyboard pro (with smart learn and suggestions switched on and predictive turned off.
Love how u can set the multi-touch period really low so i can type wxyz really fast without having to wait
I should really learn qwerty but i wasnt allowed near the computers in school lol
