Root [International] Problem with VillianRom

Newbie
Having rooted my phone about 3 days after getting it a few weeks ago, I decided to take the plunge and stick a new ROM on it.
I have downloaded VillianRom_I9300_v1.1.0
and installed it this afternoon. All seemed to be good until I made a call, and had no ringing out tone, or when it was answered could not hear the other person, and he couldn't hear me.
I have done a restore back to stock in the meantime.
Any suggestions please?
Absolutely loving the Galaxy SIII!

What modem / Baseband have you got? You would probably need to try the LFB one if you dont have that and have problems
