I've now got ES File Explorer installed on my rooted Galaxy S3 & Kindle Fire HD 7". Under the LAN tab both devices can find and access the share folders on my Laptop, NAS, Desktop PC and Media Box. But using ES File how do I access my files on my Kindle from my S3 & vice versa? ES asks for each server's IP (IP of each device), which I have. But it also asks for a username and password. On my Windows devices this is my Windows login username and password. But I've never had one for my S3 or Kindle. The only pw I have is a 4 digit screen lock for these.
I've tried leaving the usn and pw fields blank in ES but it requires them populated.
