Root [International] S3 moves like, slow motion!

Hi guys, my S3 is getting soooo slow lately. It's rooted, stock rom and kernel. I havnt got round to flashing a new rom yet, so that may improve matters, but, my S2 was never this slow. Tweetcaster takes an age to load, and if I want to tweet, I have to wait such a long time for the writing page to appear. The phone sometimes freezes too, for about 5-10 secs, then all is ok. Can anyone suggest a quick fix, until I get the time to flash a new rom?

If you have custom recovery you could back up your apps with Titanium then do a data wipe in recovery. Should freshen things up a bit.
If you're gona do that though you might as well throw on a nice fast rom

I would suggest wiping the Cache using Recovery.
