Root [International] Screen won't turn on, back and home buttons flash

As above - sometimes I'll press the power button but get no response except a slow pulse from the two buttons. I'm pretty sure this is something to do with the light sensor, but can't figure out how to get it back on without going to the bootloader and rebooting (which kills about 10% of the battery)

I'm on the latest CM11 snapshot - all suggestions gratefully received

Another cm11 problems . well to make a long story short . these are not stable ROMs now that can be fixed with 2things one would be a factory data reset and that would be followed with completion of a prop . yes build.prop edit but before you do this fix try another ROM it can be
