Root [International Tegra 3] Android Revolution HD (ARHD) [HTC ONE X]
Doesn't the firmware package include the hboot and radio? It's not something I needed to do so I didn't really pay it much attention.
I got small problem with my ARHD. Tried to change boot animation and down animation. As its not a rocket science it went quite smooth... Ive put zips in correct directories, make sure file names are same and....
boot animation changed successfully but down animation not...
Ok I thought Ive don something wrong, tried again and again... changed some filenames inside the zip in the same manner as they are in original file... even swapped the text instructions with original file... and nothing... blank screen when switching off my HOX... I gave up and replaced animation with original file but it did not helped !!?? WTH ?? blank screen (when boot animation was working fine on original and one i wanted to change it to)...
to get it working again I had to flash whole ROM from scratch...
does anyone have a clue what could causing that ?? is there something extremely obvious what im doing wrong ?
PS.I was trying to get HTC Black animation from xda
PPS. I am asking here coz there is nothing wrong with the animation (as it works fine with others), nothing wrong with the phone (I hope) so it has to be something to do with the ARHD or my stupidity :]

I have replaced animations in the zipped ROM itself and flashed it again... now it works.. but I dont think replacing animation should be so intrusive .

Signed firmware yes. S-off allows unsigned firmware signed separately flashing hboots or radio.
