I have modified a bootanimation from CYBERxNUKE (XDA) for the one X,

And huge thanks to mattmanwrx Mattman.org - Home for his time, help and hosting space and his input in putting this together. I'm a complete novice when it came to attempting this, and without mattmanwrx's help i would have given up
Download the .zip from here.
put it on your sdcard and boot to recovery and install the .zip, Aroma installer gives options for your bootanimation location, so it helps if you know where yours is installed.
