Root [International Tegra 3] ClockWorkMod Won't Load CyanogenMod 9

Hello,

Just some background points
  • Phone is with Vodaphone (UK)
  • Phone boots perfectly into CyanogenMod.
  • Google Play won't open... it will display a loading screen for under a second then close.
  • When I try to take a backup of the ROM via ROM Manager, the phone instantly reboots. Literally instantly.
The first attempt I used this guide. Worked fine, got into CWM however I flashed the ROM and Google Apps and then Cyanogen was stuck in a bootloop. I then re-flashed just the ROM and now it seems when I boot into recovery mode, there is nothing but the HTC logo.

At times, it will show the CWM screen however its under a second and you can't read nothing... it then reboots into the ROM.

Any assistance would be nice :)

I do have a backup of the ROM prior to the flashing of Cyanogen including boot.img and recovery.img

I have tried VIA ROM Manager flashing other CWM versions and even VIA Fastboot and same problem.

Update: Is it possible for someone to provide me with a link to Vodaphone's HTC One X recovery.img? Mine is corrupt! Typical!

I installed TWRP 2.1 however it loads the logo screen then the phone reboots into the ROM. ROM Manager says ClockWorkMod is still installed.

Hey mate, I just flashed cyanogenmod 9 rc0 the other day and am getting the exact same problems.

Tried reflashing cwm via rom manager and cmd prompt, nothing, still can't get into it. There is a folder in my file manager that says clockworkmod or something like that, it says in rom manager that its installed, but nothing. My Google play also does that, I had to find the .apk file to install as I couldn't install gapps via cwm. Hope someone finds a fix for this as I love cm9...

Edit - I also tried "fix permissions" in rom manager but still didn't fix Google play from force quitting.
