So I just flashed my first ROM (Team Venom's Viper X) and for some reason, HTC talk opens up instead of my keyboard whenever I want to type a message or whatever. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried searching online and looking around in my settings and Venom Tweaks but to no avail.

Root [International Tegra 3] HTC Talk opens instead of keyboard.
Pull your notification bar down and there should be an option to change the keyboard you're using.

That's the thing, there isn't one. :S I even downloaded the Sense keyboard and flashed it but it still opens htc talk.
Even tried clearing the cache in Settings >> Apps >> HTC Sense Input.
Is the HTC keyboard active in settings - language and input?
Ok, I have absolutely no idea how but it somehow fixed itself. All I did was go to Tutorial again and then pulled down the notification bar to see if there was an option to change the input, nothing showed so I thought i'd try that out when HTC talk opened up so went to type a message and boom, keyboard was back. Thanks anyway
